Lincoln City is sometimes called the kite capital. The broad long beaches and steady ocean breezes make for perfect kite flying.

There is something in Lincoln City for everyone from the 7 miles of sand for the beachcomber to the great nightlife at the Chinook Winds Casino for the sophisticate.

Lincoln City is family friendly - There are lots of fun shops along the main street and many great restaurants. Fly a kite or build a sandcastle. Have a picnic by Devils Lake, or go crabbing in Siletz Bay.

Storm Watching In Lincoln City is spectacular! There are many great oceanfront lodgings that allow you a front row seat on the awesome power of the sea during a storm.

Take a short drive down past Cape Foulweather (with a short stop at the visitor area) to Depoe Bay to enjoy whale watching, shopping and the famous spouting horns along the waterfront!
